Streifenjunko started off the autumn season this weekend in Berlin by playing at the Biegungen series in Ausland, sharing an evening together with BJ Nilsen. In september and october we will also play in Stockholm, Bydgoszcz, Paris, Montpellier, Rennes, Nantes, Brussels, Deurne and Oslo. Many of these evenings will be shared with Flymodus (Martin Taxt on tuba, Håvard Volden on guitar). Rumors has it that we will also visit Australia and the NOWnow-festival in January.

Streifenjunko wish to thank everyone involved in our US tour in May 2009. Thanks to old and new friends and organizers we had the opportunity to visit New York, Philadelphia, Cambridge, Chicago, San Fransisco and Oakland and play at a lot of nice venues. We had a great time and hope to come back!

Streifenjunko is included in The Wire Tapper 21 with a track from the recent release "No Longer Burning" (SOFA 527), together with artists like Tony Bevan/Chris Corsano/Dominic Lash, Barbara Morgenstern, Felix Kubin and Sweet Billy Pilgrim among others. The Tapper includes 21 contributions from different artists and comes together with the April issue of the magazine.

Streifenjunko celebrates the release of their new CD "No Longer Burning" (SOFA 527) with a release festival in Oslo. The duo can be heard on three different concerts featuring a new special guest every evening.
